According to Einstein's theory of relativity, there is an inseparable link between time and space. As the universe expands, different generations are confronted with different realities. The younger generations are demanding that the Baby Boomers take responsibility, which is leading to a growing gap between the generations. At the same time, older generations are complaining about the younger generation, labelling them as sensitive and overly concerned. Unfortunately, this dynamic is increasingly leading to conflict and extremism, and instead of acting together, we are coming under pressure from each other. Instead of confronting current problems, there are increased efforts to colonise other planets. PROJECT INTUS is dedicated to promoting intergenerational understanding and the capacity for self-reflection. It also explores the themes of punishment and repentance and tells the story of an astronaut who plunges into a black hole and struggles with outdated values. The project reflects on the relationship with parents and self-realisation. It also sheds light on the darker side of society and advocates a better understanding between the generations. The minimalist set transforms the space into a dystopian setting and aims to save our planet and create a vision of collaboration and self-knowledge.

In times of humanitarian and ecological crises, hatred and fear are growing unstoppably and are polarising our societies. Based on the confucian Zhong Yong, also known as Doctrine of the Mean, and its central idea of the four basic human emotions of euphoria, anger, sorrow and lust, Hoyoung Im addresses the question of how these emotions can be harmonized in such a way that a happy and balanced life can be achieved. Hoyoung Im's choreographic answer is to turn to his own personal history. He integrates the process of remembering his own feelings into the traditional Korean ritual, Jesa in order to trace not only the differences but above all the common ground with the ancestors - by laughing, crying, enraging and desiring. The ritual negotiates the question of an ideal harmonious future and our willingness to prepare for the coming time. What do we need for humanity to be happy together?

In modern society, where we are living in at the very moment, we are able to know the news from the other side of the world literally in few seconds, and the amount of informations are uncountable in proportion to the reduction of distribution time. Looking back on the past, I try to hear the stories that changed human history and mine too.

Zhong-young explains that basic human emotions: Euphoria, Anger, Sorrow and Lust and how can they be harmonised to balance the life. At the time of Pandemic, full of anxiety and fear, I look for that four emotions from the personal history of participants, which have influenced by the times of each culture. Then I convert these moments to a new ritual to bring the history back to reembody. The ritual will question about the ideal harmonious future and the our attitude to prepare the upcoming times. What do we need for mankind to be happy together? What do we need in our prayer and ritual, beyond simple custom of wishing only for wellbeing of family to our ancestor’s soul? Would it overcome the meaning of tradition and bring the balance in life to us?

Let’s think about the differences between Mankind and Animal. Human being calls ourselves “The Lord of Creation”. Truly, Human became the most successful and prosperity species in Earth. But at the same time, human doesn’t satisfy with that, even more wants to rule every other species. Human uses the nature, reins over it as an user. But human doesn’t only want to prosperity, but also wants to control and rule each other just for their benefit. Therefore the human being invented the concept of massacre, which is the WAR.

Really can the human get the title, “The Lord of Creation”? All that aside, does Human really have the capability that rules all species? If not, what is the differences between Human and other species?
